Rosary and Funeral Mass for Alex Marquez 53, of Albuquerque, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-March 19, 2014-9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.

Alex was born on February 11, 1961 in Grants, New Mexico and he passed away on March 13, 2014 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He is survived by his Wife: Diane Castro Marquez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sisters: Sophia Lopez and husband Robert of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Frances Lopez of Grants, New Mexico, Dorothy Montoya and husband David of Gallup, New Mexico, Theresa Tapia of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Bernadette Marquez of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Elda Rubi of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his Parents: Encarnacion Marquez and Dorela Ramirez Marquez; Brothers: Leroy Marquez, Encarnacion Marquez, Jr., and Clifford Marquez.

Pallbearers will be: Eddie Lopez, Sr., Robert Lopez Jr., Eddie Lopez, Jr., Mark Salazar, Dion Lopez, Joseph Garcia, Carlos Llanes, Jr. and Jose Medrano.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Robert Lopez, Sr., and David Montoya.
