Funeral services for Amado Gonzales, Jr., 65, of Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-June 21, 2006-10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Fr. Lawrence O'Keefe will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Wednesday-June 21, 2006.
Mr. Gonzales was born on June 9, 1941 in Gallup, New Mexico and passed away on June 15, 2006 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his sister: Clara Consolo of Covina, California and brother: Marcial Gonzales of Aurora, Colorado.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Amado Gonzales, Sr. and Elauteria Diaz Gonzales; Sisters: Antonia Garcia and Diane Sanchez.
Pallbearers will be: Frank Consolo, Marcial Gonzales, Bill Consolo, Freddie Ramirez, Richard Ramirez and Richard Baca.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Leonard Mora, Tom D. Trujillo, Joe Sanchez, Sam Trujillo, John Walker, and Tom Galindo.
Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Wednesday-June 21, 2006.
