Arthur Chavez

Celebration of Life for Arthur L. Chavez 51 of Las Vegas, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-September 19-2:00 PM at the Texico United Pentecostal Church, 221 Lamar, Texico, New Mexico. Pastors: Joe Maghors and Dennis Chavez will celebrate.



Arthur was born on December 2, 1963 in Las Vegas, New Mexico and he passed away peacefully surrounded by his son, brothers and sisters on July 10, 2015 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.



Arthur will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.



He is survived by his Son: Arthur Chavez and wife Rebekah of Grants, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Emma, Malachi and Lilly; Siblings: Lucy Madrid of Texico, New Mexico, Sadie Lucero and husband Leroy of Villanueva, New Mexico, Freddie Chavez of Clovis, New Mexico, Charlene Sena and husband Frank of Grants, New Mexico, Rose Romero and husband George of Clovis, New Mexico, Jeannie Chavez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dennis Chavez and wife Isabelle of San Antonio, Texas; 21 nieces and nephews as well as 27 great nieces and nephews.



He is preceded in death by his Parents: Margaret Sena Chavez and Severo Chavez and an older brother: Johnny Chavez.



A reception will be held at 215 North Griffen in Texico, New Mexico
