Augustine Ortega

Rosary and Funeral Mass for Augustine M. Ortega 76 of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Monday-June 10, 2019-9:30 AM at St. Vivian's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Father John Paul Sauter will be the celebrant.



Viewing will be held on Monday-June 10, 2019 from 8:30 AM till 9:30 AM at St. Vivian's Catholic Church.



Augustine was born on February 16, 1943 in Santa Fe, New Mexico and he passed away on June 4, 2019 in Milan, New Mexico.



He is survived by his Loving Wife: Susan "Gabaldon" Ortega of Milan, New Mexico; Son: Max Ortega, III and wife Francine of Gilbert, Arizona; Daughters: Melissa Minton and husband Tim, Nakesha Ortega both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brother: Manuel Ortega and wife Mabel, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sisters: Carmen Barela, Frances Griego both of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Pita Maria Dalton and husband Herman of Pecos, New Mexico; 6 Grandchildren: Janelle Ortega and husband Eric, Isabella Barela, Estevan Barela, Aaliyah Barela, Max Ortega IV and wife Kim, Joziah Ortega, Alexia Ortega, T.J. Minton and wife Brittany, Camden Minton, Brianna Minton, Ty Minton, Nakesha Ortega and 6 Great Grandchildren and his caretaker: Mary Fertig.



He is preceded in death by his Daughter: Monica Ortega; Parents: Max Ortega, Sr. and Candelaria "Romero" Ortega; Brother: Phillip Ortega.



Pallbearers will be: Janelle Ortega, Max Ortega, IV, Nakesha Ortega, T.J. Minton, Brianna Minton, Ty Minton.
