Augustus Durante

Funeral Mass for Augustus "Augie" Durante, Sr. 74 of Timberlake, New Mexico will be held on Friday-October 3, 2014-11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Gallup, New Mexico. Burial will be held at 3:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. Albuquerque, New Mexico.



Visitation will be held before the Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral.



Augustus was born on September 29, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York and he went home to be with our heavenly Father on September 29, 2014 in Timberlake, New Mexico. Known to all his friends as "Augie". He was a Veteran of the US Air Force. Augie also was a well known business owner in Gallup for many years.



He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years: Pat Durante of Ramah, New Mexico; Sons: Kenneth Durante, and Augustus "Augie" Durante, Jr.; Daughters: Anita "Lisa" Davert and Carmella "Molly" Durante; and Grandchildren: Michael King, David Davert, Kristina Davert, Jennifer Durante, Kathryn Durante and David Durante; Great Grandchildren: Miguel and Mikhi King; Sister: Marie Mahler of Brooklyn, New York.



He is preceded in death by his Parents: Salvator Durante and Carmela Consolino Durante; Brother: Paul Durante.
