Rosary for Barbara J. Peterson 79 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-March 3, 2018-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Barbara was born on August 12, 1938 in Flagstaff, Arizona to EmmaLee and Lawrence Edwards and she passed away on February 24, 2018 in Grants, New Mexico.
Upon Graduation she met and married Wayne Huddleston, they made their home in Grants, NM. They were married 25 years. She then moved to Dallas, Texas after obtaining her Associates Degree in Business, where she worked and upon retirement returned back to Grants, NM to be with her only child and grandchildren.
She then met and married Roger Peterson. She enjoyed the Arts, and all hand crafts, but her passion was gardening especially her roses.
When she was suddenly and unexpectedly called home, she left behind
her Husband: Roger Peterson of Grants, New Mexico; Only Daughter: Kelly Olguin and husband Wilfred of Grants, New Mexico; Grandchildren:
Daniella Fajardo and husband Tony and their children: Julianah and Isaiah of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Michelle Olguin and her daughter Hannah Corson of Grants, New Mexico; LeeAnna Olguin and her children Noelle and Jacob Hall of Grants, New Mexico; Victoria Callaway and her husband Benjamin and their children Shawn, Audriana and Benjamin, Jr. of Grants, New Mexico; Nieces Kathy Ingle of Tennessee and Valerie Watson and husband Winfield and their Children Tarver and Mercedes of Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her Parents: Lawrence Edwards and Emmalee "Taver" Horton; Sister: Judy Ingel.
