Funeral Service for Beatrice A. Martinez 94 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-July 16, 2016-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Beatrice was born on January 7, 1922 in Sugarite, New Mexico near Raton and she passed away on July 6, 2016 in Grants, New Mexico.
Our mom was devoted to her family and an avid Lobo Basketball Fan. She was always organized and a perfectionist in her endeavors. Her cooking was exceptional and enjoyed by all the family
He daughter Kathy was a local teacher for many years and her students looked forward to mom's brownies on special occasions. She was a role model and an incredible mom!
She is survived by her Daughters: Kathy L. Martinez of Grants, New Mexico, Lucille Mirabal of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Nancy Koehl and husband Ken of Edgewood, New Mexico; Sons: David Martinez and wife Vickie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Gary Martinez of Milan, New Mexico and Marty Martinez of Grants, New Mexico; many Grand and Great Grand Children.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband: Willie Martinez; Parents: Martin and Evelyn Garcia.
Pallbearers will be: Rick Mirabal, Eli Mirabal, James Mirabal, Bobby Duran, Seran Lucero, Ken Koehl, Jr., Derek Martinez and James Mirabal.
She will forever be in our thoughts and hearts.
