Funeral Services for Benjamin Gonzales 79 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-September 13, 2016-11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church on Mountain Road. Pastor Garland Moore will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Benjamin was born on June 15, 1037 in El Dado, New Mexico and he passed away on September 8, 2016 in Grants, New Mexico. He worked for years in the Uranium Mines before opening Gonzales Boots and Saddle Shop. After he retired from the business he managed commercial and residential properties.
Benjamin was a playful and caring man. He loved to spend time wit his family and work on various projects.
He is survived by his Loving Wife: Bernadette Chavez Gonzales of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Mark Gonzales of Phoenix, Arizona; Daughter: Shauna Gonzales of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Eddie Gonzales of Grants, New Mexico, Harry Gonzales of Milan, New Mexico and Joe Gonzales of Milan, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Alcario Gonzales and Maria Refugio Montano Gonzales; Sisters: Christina Strickland, Adelita Gonzales and Florence Gonzales; Brother: Daniel Gonzales.
Pallbearers will be: Joel Bertrand, Daniel Gonzales, DeWayne Gonzales, Steve Gonzales, Caleb Hathorn and Brandon Stickland.
