Rosary and Funeral Mass for Benny Edwardo Chavez 71 of San Rafael, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-August 12,2017-9:30 AM at the San Rafael Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Rafael Community Cemetery.



Benny was born on September 14, 1945 in Grants, New Mexico and he passed away on August 7, 2017 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a Barber by trade.



He is survived by his Daughters: Terri Chavez of San Rafael, New Mexico, Stephanie Chavez of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Ursula Chavez of San Rafael, New Mexico; Brothers: Carlos Chavez, Jr. of San Rafael, New Mexico, Reuben Chavez, Michael Chavez and Mario Chavez all of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sisters: Sara Welter of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Abby Ricker of Grants, New Mexico, Jena Richardson of Las Vegas, Nevada, Anita Erb of Moriarty, New Mexico, Rita Gutierrez of San Rafael, New Mexico, Bonnie Lucero of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Yolanda Montano of Grants, New Mexico; and 4 Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his Parents: Carlos Chavez and Rita Chavez; Sisters: Dolores Vigil, Isidorita Pena, Yvette Jaramillo.
