Funeral Services for Bernie Liebel 69 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-December 6, 2017-11:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Dale Chambers will officiate. Military Honors by the VFW Post 3221.
Bernie was born on April 15, 1948 in Kernville, California and he passed away on November 30, 2017 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Army serving in Viet Nam.
He is survived by his loving wife: Cheryl Davis Liebel of Grants, New Mexico; Sons: Frank Liebel and Bernie Liebel, JR. both of Grants, New Mexico; Daughter: Mindi Liebel of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Terry Liebel of Pine Top, California, Eddie Liebel Pinehill, New MExico and Mavis Liebel of Pine Top, California; Sister: Rodena Mentte of Tohatchape, California: 5 Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Frank Liebel and Virgil Bernie Lesher Liebel; Brothers: Dane Liebel and Randy Liebel.
Pallbearers will be: Frak Liebel, Bernie Liebel, Jr., Maneul Gonzales, Jr., Melvin McHenry, Ricy McHenry, Johnny Wilson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Johnny Otero, Sr., Eddie Liebel, Terry Liebel, Marvis Liebel.
