Rosary and Funeral Mass for Candelaria "Candy" Mazon 95 of Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-February 7, 2018-9:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Knights of Columbus Section of Hillcrest Cemetery.
Viewing will be held from 9:00 at till 9:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Candy was born on October 18, 1922 in Madrid, New Mexico and she passed away on February 1, 2018 in Gallup, New Mexico.
She is survived by her Sons: Robert Calderon of Carson, Washington, Julian R. Leza, Ascension Leza, Raymond Griego and Lawrence Griego all of Gallup, New Mexico; Daughters: Gloria Leza of Gallup, New Mexico, Maryann Tucker of Criag, Colorado, Margaret Lewis of Mesa Arizona, Priscilla Petty of Paramount, California and Mildred Alonzo of Gallup, New Mexico; Brother: Frank Calderon of El Paso, Texas; 52 Grandchildren, 99 Great Grandchildren and 28 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Husband Jose Leon Mazon; Son: Augustine Mazon; Daughter: Maxine Garcia; Parents: Philip Calderon and Valerie "Estrada" Calderon; Brothers: Nick Calderon and Cipriano Calderon; Sisters: Gregoria Pinkstaff, Julia Sanchez, Dolores Reynolds, Lucy Edwards and Lucy Calderon.
Pallbearers will be: Robert Gallegos, Ruben Gallegos, Eric Martinez, Raymond Griego, Jr., Joseph Leza, Jr., Lawrence Griego, Jr., Ricky Joe Leza, Sammy Alonzo, Steven Alonzo, Joey Alonzo and Daniel Gonzales.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all of her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
