Carmen C Gonzales

Carmen C. Gonzales, 88, of Milan, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026. She was born on June 18, 1937, in Terrero, New Mexico.

Carmen was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. Her life was centered around her family, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to those she loved. She had a special place in her heart for each of her grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her children: Olivia Martinez and husband Armando Martinez; Joanna Torrez and husband James Torrez; Daniel Gonzales and wife Judy Gonzales; and Steve Gonzales and wife Nadine Gonzales and her sister Adelina Ballard. She has 9 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion lives on through them and her beloved grandchildren.

Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Gonzales; her father, Antonio Gonzales; and her mother, Senaida Gonzales, sisters Delcinea Vallejos (Nea), Navolena Salcido (Navo), Rita Molina, Defina Gonzales and brothers Benerito Gonzales (Benny), Eutimio Gonzales (Timo), Antonio Gonzales, Johnny Gonzales, Bernie Gonzales

She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her kind heart, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
