Seboyeta, NM

Claudio Romero, a cherished son of Seboyeta, New Mexico, was born on November 13, 1946, and departed this world on May 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy marked by love, charisma, and an unwavering commitment to his community. He dedicated his life to numerous endeavors, notably working at several uranium mines before establishing his own electrical company. Claudio also served as one of the Directors at Continental Divide Electric Coop, where his leadership and dedication to service shone brightly.

As a proud graduate of Seboyeta High School, Claudio’s thirst for knowledge led him to further his education by attending technical school, where he honed his skills as an electrician. His professional journey was complemented by his loving personality and a heartwarming spirit, traits that endeared him to countless friends and family members throughout his life.

Claudio was a devoted father to his son, Chris, and his wife Milena Romero, and daughter, Claudette Romero. He was a proud grandfather to Chloe, who brought immense joy to his life. He is survived by his beloved brother, Efren Sr., and his wife, Theresa Romero, along with a wonderful network of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom were touched by his kindness and unique but special personality.

He was predeceased by his father, Delubino Romero Sr., mother, Frances Romero, brother, Delubino Romero Jr., sister, Juana Rael, and his dear niece, Arlene Trujillo. Although their absence is felt deeply, Claudio's enduring spirit lives on through the many lives he influenced, and the memories created together—too many to count!

Family and friends are invited to come together to honor his life and legacy. A Rosary will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows in Seboyeta at 10:00 AM on May 17, 2025, followed by a Mass at 10:30 AM at the same location. Claudio will then be laid to rest in a burial service starting at 11:30 AM.
