Demetrio Trujillo

Funeral Services for Demetrio Trujillo, Sr. 63, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-May 17, 2010-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park with full Military Honors by the VFW Lodge 3021.



A prayer service will be held on Sunday-May 16, 2010-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.



Demetrio was born on January 2, 1947 in Grants, New Mexico and he passed away on May 13, 2010 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a veteran of the US Airforce serving during the Vietnam War and was retired as a Forman for the Mines.



He is survived by his loving wife: Verginia Trujillo of Grants, New Mexico; Sons: Troy Trujillo of Grants, New Mexico, Demetrio Trujillo, Jr. of Grants, New Mexico and Celestino Trujillo of Grants, New Mexico; Daughters: Naomi Hickman and husband Douglas of Grants, New Mexico and Rebecca Trujillo of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Samuel Trujillo and wife RoseMary of San Rafael, New Mexico, Johnny Trujillo and wife Nadine of San Rafael, New Mexico and Tommy Trujillo and wife Patricia of San Rafael, New Mexico; Sisters: Sostene Landavazo and husband Albert of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Benina Ross and husband Richard of Gallup, New Mexico and Lucille Silvia and husband Steve of Grants, New Mexico; Brother-in- law: Miguel Apodaca of Grants, New Mexico and 9 Grandchildren: Mariah Trujillo, Ryan Trujillo, Justin Trujillo, Bobby Gutierrez, Kyle Hickman, Tyler Hickman, Amber Hickman, Marissa Trujillo, Joaquin Trujillo.



He is preceded in death by his parents: Celestino Trujillo and Jennie Castillo Trujillo; Sister: Shirley Apodaca.



Pallbearers will be: Douglas Hickman, Lizardo Jaure, Walter Ramirez, Jr., Steven Silva, Jr., Jerry Garcia, Tommy Trujillo, Chris Trujillo, Anthony Sandoval.



Honorary Pallbeares will be: Mariah Trujillo, Ryan Trujillo, Justin Trujillo, Bobby Gutierrez, Kyle Hickman, Tyler Hickman, Amber Hickman, Marissa Trujillo, Joaquin Trujillo.
