Funeral Mass for Dennis David Chavez 23, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-March 27, 2009-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.
A rosary will be held on Thursday-march 26, 2009-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Dennis was born on December 2, 1985 in Grants, New Mexico and passed away on March 22, 2009 in Albuquerque, New Mexico after a lengthy Illness.
He is survived by his parents: David and Gloria Chavez of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Desiree Chavez of Grants, New Mexico; Grandparents: Gilbert and Angie Chavez of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and Bennie Gallegos of Grants, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather: Alfredo Gallegos, Jr.
Pallbearers will be: Gilbert Chavez, Rick Chavez, Leroy Chavez, Eddie Chavez, Danny Chavez and Chris Diaz.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Desiree Chavez, Michael Chavez, Anthony Chavez, Joseph Chavez, Karen Diaz and Molly Carpenter.
