Funeral Services for Eddie "Ed" A. Scott 72 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-September 21, 2015-10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Milan, New Mexico. Pastor Arlie Eicke will officiate. Burial will be held on Tuesday-September 22, 2015-1:30 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.



Visitation will be held on Sunday-September 20, 2015 from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.



Ed was born on November 23, 1942 in Avon Park, Florida and he passed away on September 12, 2015 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam War.



He is survived by his loving Wife: Carolyn George Scott of Grants, New Mexico; Sons: Justin Scott and wife Patty of Canon City, Colorado and Matthew Stevens of Canon City, Colorado; Daughters: Diana Thorne and husband Tom of Milan, New Mexico and Heather Woodhouse and husband Josh of Canon City, Colorado; Grandson: Benjamin Thorne and wife Adrianna of Milan, New Mexico; Great Grandson: Zaniel Thorne of Milan, New Mexico; 6 Brothers 2 Sisters.



He is preceded in death by his Parents: Cary Scott and Elsie Woodard Scott; 1 Brother and 1 sister.
