Enriquez Garcia, a dedicated family man and respected member of the community, was born on October 2, 1946, in Seboyeta, New Mexico. He passed away on May 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy woven into the lives of his loved ones and the communities he served.
Enriquez was a proud 20-year veteran who actively participated in the ROTC programs at various schools, inspiring countless young individuals to pursue their dreams. His commitment to service extended into a distinguished career in law enforcement, followed by meaningful work in corrections, where he made a significant difference in many lives.
Enriquez is survived by his beloved children, who cherished him deeply:
- Mathew Rymer and his wife Natalie, along with their son Jonas.
- Sally Romero, her husband Joseph, and their children: Joseph, his daughter Rebekah, and son Steven; along with Natalie McDonald and her husband Kaleb, and their children Kali, Avah, Lacie, Eden, and Ivory.
- Jill Sanchez and her husband David, featuring an expansive family: their son Carlos and his wife Shannon, who have children Troy and Leah; their son Sean with his children Jaxon and Luca; their daughter Marcella Medina and her husband Brandon with daughter Luna and son Luciano; their daughter Selena Marez and her husband Michael with children Ryker, Ryleigh, and Everleigh; and their daughter Elicia and her husband Tim Borror with children Alexander and Elaine.
- Heidi Bohannon and her husband Weston, along with their daughter Liu Molina and her children Bentley and Rynnley; their son Trace Burgoon; daughter Faith Bohannon; and son Colton Bohannon.
- Lonnie Garcia and his children Holynn Garcia and Nandi Otero.
Enriquez was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Garcia, and his grandson Joseph Romero IV, who will be remembered fondly in the hearts of all who knew them.
To honor Enriquez's life, friends and family are invited to a viewing on May 19, 2025, at The Way, the Truth and the Life Church in Grants, New Mexico, starting at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Seboyeta Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
Enriquez Garcia’s legacy of service, love, and dedication will continue to live on in the memories of his family and community members. His unwavering spirit and devotion to his loved ones will never be forgotten.
