Memorial Rosary and Funeral Mass for Fermin "Sal" Salazar 89 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-February 28, 2019-9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.



Sal was born on April 21, 1929 in Maitland, Huerfano County Colorado and he passed away at his daughters house on February 18, 2019. He was the last of his brothers and sisters.



He worked at United Nuclear Mines and Coal Mines in Colorado and Utah.



He is survived by his Daughters: Eleanor Archuleta of Grants, New Mexico, Marie Lopez and husband Paul of Milan, New Mexico amd Margaret Montano and husband Eloy of Milan, New Mexico; Grandchildren: John Paul Lopez, Jr., Tina Robles and husband Robert, April Reynolds and Alex Archuleta, Jr.; Great Grandchildren: Lesa Lopez, John Paul Lopez III, Adam Lopez, Alyssa Reynolds, Jonathon Reynolds, Jr., Jeremy Reynolds, Robert Robles and Zayden Robles; Great Great Grandchild: Johnny Armijo, Jr. and numerous Nephews and Nieces.



He is preceded in death by his Wife: Gladys Salazar; Son: gilbert Salazar; Grandson: Jonathon Reynolds, Sr.; Parents: Moises Salazar and Lorencita "Archuleta" Salazar; Brothers: Joseph, Henry and Claude Salazar; Sister: Theresa Raybal and a son-in-law: Alex Archuleta, Sr.



Pallbearers will be his Grandchildren.
