Rosary and Funeral Mass for Fidelina O. Diaz 78, of San Mateo, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-March 30, 2017-9:00 AM at the San Mateo Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Mateo Community Cemetery.
Fidelina was born on February 27, 1939 in San Mateo, New Mexico and she passed away on March 27, 2017 in San Mateo, New Mexico. She was retired from Cibola County Government.
She is survived by her Daughters: Yvette Arp and husband Bruce of Grants, New Mexico, Gayle Lucero and husband Benjamin of Milan, New Mexico, Victoria Urenda and husband Richard of Los Lunas, New Mexico, Leonora Sandoval and companion Sammy Saavedra of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Milton Ortega of Los Lunas, New Mexico and Gary Ortega of San Mateo, New Mexico; Sisters: Pauline Gonzales of San Mateo, New Mexico, Jenny Marquez and Beatrice Martinez both of Grants, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Silvano Paul,Kyle, KayCee, Santana, Richelle, BobbieJo, Jenna Lee; Great Grandchildren: Lucas, Desiraye, Brandan, Ryan, Kylee, Kyrin, Koen, Katella, Evan, Dylan.
She is preceded in death by her First Husband: Silvano Sandoval, Second Husband: Alfred M. Diaz; Parents: Tomas Ortega and Margarita Gutierrez Ortega; Brother: Ernest Ortega; Sisters: Evangelina Barela and Liz Marquez.
Pallbearers will be: Silvano Paul Sandoval, Kyle Martinez, Stevan Barela, Eric Barela, Toby Dean Martinez, Vicente Ortega.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Tommy Marquez, and all of her Grandchildren.
