Services for Flora MayBell Spence, 92 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-May 31, 2008-11:00 AM at Immanuel Baptist Church in Milan, New Mexico. Pastor Garland Moore will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Friday-May 30, 2008-4:00 PM-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
MayBell was born on July 31, 1915 in Roby, Texas and passed away May 27, 2008 in Grants, New Mexico.
She is survived by her children: Carolyn Pope of Milan, New Mexico, John Charles Spence of Strasburg, Colorado, James Robert White of Islamorada, Florida and Jerry Anne Adamcyzk of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; 5 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her first husband: James Calvin White and 2nd husband: Herbert Lee Spence; Parents: Henry Calvert Smith and Nellie Mae Smith; Great Grandson: James Ryan White; Brothers: Fred Smith, Oddie Smith, Conrad Smith, Ernest Smith and Dan Smith; Sisters: Vera Smith, Lorraine Smith, Betty King, LaVonia Reed, Orena Cherry, Vernie Jo Nash, and Gwendolyn Merrill.
