Rosary and Funeral Mass for Frank Anton Gantar, Sr. 85 of Gamerco, New Mexico will be held Friday-May 13, 2011-2:00 PM at St. Francis Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Gallup City Cemetery. Fr. Patrick will be the Celebrant.
Visitation will be held on Friday-May 13, 2011 from 1:30 PM till 2:00 PM at St. Francis Catholic Church.
Frank ws born on February 26, 1926 in Gallup, New Mexico and he passed away on May 6, 2011 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Army.
He was retired from Ft. Wingate Army Depote. Loved to fish, hunt and raise animals.
He is survived by his children: Frank A. Gantar, Jr. of Gamerco, New Mexico, Rebecca Gantar of Gallup, New Mexico, 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Savina Gantar; Parents: Anton Gantar and Helen Gantar; Son: Richard Gantar; Daughter: Roseanne Garcia; brothers: Anton Gantar, Jr., Sonny Gantar and George Gantar; Sisters: Rosie Baca, Isabel Martinez, Olga May and Tila Griego.
Pallbearers will be: Robert Garcia, Frank Gantar, III, Ryan Garcia, Chad Gantar, Ricky Gantar and Jessie Ray Padilla.
