Frank Martinez

A Rosary and Memorial Mass for Frank Martinez will be held August 26, 2020-9:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Gallup. Father Abel will officiate.



Frank D. "Kinky" Martinez, 67 of Yahtahey, New Mexico, passed away on August 10, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.



Frank was born on May 3, 1953 to George C. and Cecilia Martinez in Gallup, New Mexico. He graduated from Gallup High School in 1971. He married the love of his life, Anna on September 30, 1978.



Frank owned and operated Pancho's Cafe, along with his wife in 1985. He was also employed by KFC, T&R Market and K&B Company.



Frank was an avid outdoorsman who highly enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He loved spending time with family and friends. He especially loved to spoil his grandchildren. Frank was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys Fan. He always had a great sense of humor and was known for playing pranks and making people laugh.



Frank is survived by his wife Anna Martinez of Yahtahey, N.M, daughters Bernadette & her Husband Jose "Gordo" Pinedo of Yahtahey, N.M and Christine Martinez & her Soulmate Gerad Garcia of Albuquerque, N.M, and his four grandchildren Christopher Martinez, Breanna Pinedo, Nicholas "Pickles" Pinedo, all of Yahtahey, N.M and Gerad Garcia II of Albuquerque, N.M.



Frank was preceded in death by his parents George and Cecilia Martinez and his siblings Edwina Martinez, Tommy Martinez, Manuel Martinez, Helen Morales, Johnny Martinez, Jessie Martinez and Christina Martinez.
