Geneva Chavez

Geneva Chavez was 92 years old. She passed away peacefully at home on November 1, 2023. Geneva was the matriarch of the family. She was well known as a grandma at mesa view elementary for many years. She loved going to the casino with her friends and bringing the whole family together for her delicious cooking. She was a beloved wife to her one true love, Alberto Chavez.



She is survived by her four sons- Richard Chavez, Tommy Chavez, Wife- Judy Chavez, Cardino Chavez, Wife- Berna Chavez and Jimmy Chavez, Wife- Bernadette Chavez and her 13 Grandchildren and 38 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Antonio and Romona Gonzales and her daughter Dorothy Chavez.



Rosary November 13, 2023 at 9:30 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Followed by Mass and burial will be located at Grants Memorial Park Cemetery. Reception will follow burial at Knights of Columbus, In Grants, New Mexico.
