George Roberts

Memorial Service for George Wayne Roberts 65 of Thoreau, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-December 12, 2019-1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Gallup, New Mexico. Pastor Christopher Kellog will officiate. Private burial will be held at a later date in Middle Creek Cemetery, Middle Creek, TN.



George was born on December 4, 1954 in Brewton, Alabama and he passed away on December 6, 2019 in Thoreau, New Mexico.



He graduated from High School in 1973 got his Associate of Arts from Jefferson Davis College, Theology from Liberty Bible College, Associate of Science from Jefferson Davis College. Member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Fraternity. Joined the Navy in 1973 as a Corpsman, received the National Defense Service Medal and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.



He is survived by his Loving Wife: Traci Cornelius-Roberts; Sons Kenneth Robert and wife Skye of Carefree, Arizona, Patrick Roberts and wife Stacey of Breandeton, Florida, Dominick Vinson-Roberts of Ft. Myers, Florida, Jacob Roberts of Thoreau, New Mexico; Daughters: Savanna Roberts of Sebring, Florida, Hannah Roberts of Thoreau, New Mexico, Michelle Roberts of Thoreau, New Mexico, Trisha Cornelius-Roberts of Thoreau, New Mexico; Sisters: Helen "Becky" Roberts of Thoreau, New Mexico, Leann Roberts Middelton of Evergreen, Alabama; 4 Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his Parents: Dwight Roberts and Virginia "Clark" Roberts; Son: Thomas Qasam.
