Rosary and Funeral Mass for Georgina T. Garcia 94 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-February 25, 2016-10:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Georgina was born on July 19, 1921 in Tinaja, New Mexico and she passed away on February 18, 2016 in Grants, New Mexico.
She is survived by her Brother: Albert Taddy, Jr., of Milan, New Mexico; Sisters: Sue Metzgar of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ernestine Taddy of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Julie Aragon of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Sally Torres of Grants, New Mexico; Aunt: Josie Gurule; 3 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; Theresa, Raymond Padilla caregivers and family, her brother Silbio Children that were her adopted family. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and any one lucky enough to call her a friend. She will be missed by all. Special thanks to Heartland Hospice Staff for the care they gave our Aunt Gina.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Leandro Garcia; Son: Wilfred Garcia, Parents: Albert Taddy, Sr. and Tranquiliana Marez Taddy; Brother: Silbio Taddy.
Pallbearers will be: Larry Gurule, Clifford Chavez, Leonard Aragon, Joe Ray Leyba, O.J. Metzgar, Joe Raymond Padilla, Charlie Harding and Jay Gabaldon.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bennie Gallegos, Lorraine Taddy, Petra Marez, Nickie Salazar, Rosalie Martinez,
