Services will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral November 30th, 2018. Rosary at 10am with Mass to follow at 10:30am. Father Jim Walker will officiate. Family and friends to gather at the family center following mass for reception.
Gerald .L. "Jerry" Smith Jr. 50 was born June 13, 1968 in Gallup. He passed away November 16, 2018 in Rio Rancho.
Jerry was a talented glass technician for over 10 years. He loved the Dallas Cowboys & the LA Lakers. He earned his second degree brown belt under Tony & Jody Sanchez at Sanchez karate academy. He enjoyed coaching all of his kids in all of their childhood sports. He loved to play basketball and baseball. But most of all, he loved spending time with friends and family.
Jerry is survived by his Mother: Martha R Caraveo; Brothers: Danny Rosales, David A Smith, Kenney Caraveo; Sister: Cheryl McCue-King; Children: Adrian Smith, Andre Smith & Angelica Smith; Grandchildren: Ariel Smith, Andre Smith Jr, Aurora Smith & baby Hernandez. And many neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Fathers: Gerald L Smith Sr and Quinardo Caraveo; Grandparents Francisco & Jesusita Rosales, Torivio & Soleded Caraveo.
Pallbearers will be: Michael Lucero, Michael Mazon, Andrew Rosales, Adrian Smith, Andre Smith & Jody Sanchez
Honorary Pallbearers: Cody Crain, Casey Crain, Ariel Smith, Andre Smith Jr., Aurora Smith ,Angelica Smith & Baby Hernandez.
