Gilbert Alonzo

Rosary and Funeral Mass for Gilbert M. Alonzo, Sr. 77 of Gallup, New Mexico will be held together with his Loving Wife Mildred on Monday-November 23, 2020-9:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Gallup due to the Covid outbreak only 75 people can attend no children. Burial for both will take place at the Gallup State Veterans Cemetery. (Only the Children can attend due to the Covid Rules)



Gilbert was born on September 6, 1943 in Gibson, New Mexico and he passed away on November 9, 2020 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.



He is survived by his Daughter: Brenda Martinez and husband Andy; Sons: Sammy Alonzo and wife Anna, Jose Alonzo, Steven Alonzo; Siblings: Salvador Alonzo, Raymond Alonzo, Tony Alonzo, Pete, Alonzo, Magdaleno, Alonzo, Robert Alonzo; Sisters Jenny Vallez, Lucia Alonzo, Irene Romero, Maria Ukastine;



He is preceded in death by his parents: Aniceto Alonzo and Juana "Torrez" Alonzo; Granddaughter: Angeli Madrid. His loving wife: Mildred "Mazon" Alonzo died 6 days after him.



Pallbearers will be: Eric Martinez, Jonathan Alonzo, Justin Gilbert Alonzo, Steven Alonzo, Jr., Vince Alonzo, Martin Valdez, Jr.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren (Shantell Gallegos, Kyia Dawes, Kaishuna Dawes, Robert Gallegos, Ruben Gallegos, Lanayah Martinez, Joseph Martinez, Abel Martinez, Micaela Martinez, Greg Madrid, Monique Diaz, Vanessa Martha.
