Gracie Platero

Funeral Services for Gracie H. Platero 75 of Fort Wingate, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-January 27, 2015-10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Gallup, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Rehoboth Mission Cemetery in Rehoboth, New Mexico.



Gracie was born on March 13, 1939 in Becenti, New Mexico and she passed away on January 24, 2015 in Fort Wingate, New Mexico. She was retired from the BIA as a Home Living Assistant.



She is survived by her Sons: Benson Platero of Fort Wingate, New Mexico, Gary Platero of Zuni, New Mexico, Garrison Paltero of Fort Wingate, New Mexico and Herbert Platero of Zuni, New Mexico; Daughters: Genevieve Sandoval of Fort Wingate, New Mexico, Geraldine Akeson of Gallup, New Mexico; 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.



She is preceded in death by her Parents: Benny Padilla and Elizabeth Bigthumb Padilla; Sister: Betty Padilla; Brothers: Franklin Padilla, Tommy Padilla and Leo Padilla.



Pallbearers will be: Benson Platero, Gary Platero, Garrison Platero, Herbert Platero, Jr., Kelvin Akeson, Shaun Platero Padilla



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Clinton Jim, Paul Padilla, James Platero.
