Funeral Services for James C. Allen 81 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-September 26, 2017-11:00 AM at the Thoreau Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be held on Wednesday-September 27, 2017-1:00 PM at the Fort Sumner Community Cemetery, Fort Sumner, New Mexico.
James was born on August 16, 1936 in Fort Sumner, New Mexico and he passed away on September 21, 2017 in Grants, New Mexico.
He is survived by his Sons: James Allen of Jamestown, New Mexico, Frank Allen of Hobbs, New Mexico and Miles Allen of Slidell, Louisiana; Daughters: Kathy Allen of Clovis, New Mexico, Kim Weierman of Red Lodge, Montana and Sunny Fischer of Gilbert, Arizona; Sister: Rosella Moore of Thoreau, New Mexico; 16 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Grandson: Colter Weierman; Parents: Franklin Fred Allen and Allie Pauline (Riley) Allen.
Pallbearers will be: Daniel Allen, Chris Brock, Andy Allen, Andy Sanchez, Kacie Mayberry, Kurt Warren.
In lieu of Flowers donation may be made to the Jammie's Heart Fund c/0 P.O. Box 1053, Jamestown, New Mexico 87347.
