Funeral Mass for James C. DeHerrera 58, of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-February 17, 2011-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Milan. the Very Rev. Alberto Avella will celebrate. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday-February 16, 2011-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
James was born on August 6, 1952 in Mora, New Mexico and he passed away on February 11, 2011 in Milan, New Mexico. He was a well known carpenter in the Milan-Grants Area.
He is survived by his loving wife: Lorraine DeHerrera of Milan, New Mexico; Sons: Bryan DeHerrera and wife Charity , Mario DeHerrera and wife Brenda, Danny DeHerrera and wife Jessica, Jesse DeHerrera and wife Desiree, Rueben DeHerrera and wife Lori; 17 grandchildren; Mother: Eloisa DeHerrera of Mora, New Mexico; Brothers: Carlos DeHerrera and wife Elise of Denver, Colorado, Robert DeHerrera and wife Liz of Mora, New Mexico, Joseph DeHerrera and wife Helen of Mora, New Mexico; Sister: Tina Garcia and husband George of San Antonio, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his father: Felipe DeHerrera; brothers: Fermin DeHerrera and Archie DeHerrera.
Pallbearers will be: Mario DeHerrera, Danny DeHerrera, Rueben DeHerrera, Jesse DeHerrera, Phillip DeHerrera and Kevin Rael.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Joey Rael, Robbie DeHerrera, Danny DeHerrera, Jr., and
Abel Serna.
