James was born on December 16, 1977 in Gallup, New Mexico and he passed away on July 13, 2021` in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
He is survived by his Companion: April Lopez; Children: Samantha Chavez, Stephen Montano, Leslie Montano, Nathen Montano, Emily Montano, James Montano, Jr., Alicia Montano and Jacob Montano; Mother: Alice "Molina" Montano; Sister: Doris Gonzales; Brothers: Leroy Montano, Martin Montano, Leonard Montano and Elias Montano; 4 Grandsons.
He is preceded in Death by his Father: Julian Montano.
Pallbearers will be: David Gonzales Carlitos Gonzales Eugene Chavez Adrian Lopez Dion Valdez Anthony Castillo Rudolfo Fernandez Donald Chavez
