Jessie M Farris

Jessie M. Farris, born April 8, 1953, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 73.

Jessie graduated from high school in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1970. She devoted her life to being a homemaker and caring for her family. Her family was an important part of her life, and some of her most treasured memories were the family vacations they took to Colorado, where they enjoyed camping and spending time together.

Jessie had many hobbies that brought her happiness throughout her life. She enjoyed arts and crafts, adult coloring, sewing, making beaded jewelry, working on crossword puzzles, and watching Western movies. Above all, she cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and loved ones and baking them home-made cakes to enjoy.

Jessie is survived by her sons, Jason Hill, Charles M. Farris, Robert Farris, and Chad and Priscilla Farris; her daughters, Robyn Farris and Mia Farris; and her beloved grandchildren, Alyxia, Anthonie, Angelina, Xavier, Aaron, and Adrian; along with her great-grandchildren Destiny, and Lorenzo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Farris; her parents, Elias and Rita Martinez; her sister, Sharon Jaramillo; and her brother, Chris Martinez.

Jessie will be remembered for the love she had for her family, her creativity, and the simple things in life that brought her joy. The memories she created with her children and grandchildren will continue to be cherished for generations to come.

Jessie will be cremated in Grants, New Mexico. She will then return home to Texas, where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Charles, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

May Jessie rest peacefully, reunited with those she loved who passed before her, while her memory continues to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
