Funeral Service for Jimmie D. Alldredge 89 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-June 7, 2018-12:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Garland Moore will officiate.
Viewing will be held on Thursday-June 7, 2018 from 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Jimmie was born Nov. 1, 1928 in Lubbock, Texas and passed away May 31, 2018 in Grants.
Jimmie lived the majority of his life in Grants, and was well known by everyone as the owner of Alldredge Drilling.
Jimmie had a love for horse racing and classic cars and owned several race horses throughout his life. Jimmie was known to be a very loving and giving man and his cheerful personality touched everyone who he met.
He is survived by his sister, Gayle Walters and husband Don of Amarillo, TX, daughters; Sharon Kay of Springfield, CO, Roggie Ann Reef of Ft. Morgan, CO, & Sue Taylor and husband Larry of Grants, NM and son Richard Gray of Portales, NM and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his 1st Wife: Helen Alldredge; 2nd Wife: Marcella "Thompson" Alldredge; Sons: Kenneth Gray, Ronnie Gray and Freddie Gray; Parents: Alton Alldredge and Reta "Baker" Bowlin.
Pallbearers will be Duane Taylor, Lil' Jimmie Alldredge, Todd Dillard, Richard Jones, Anthony Garduno, & Mike Aragon.
Honorary Pallbearers will include, all of his family, friends, and caregivers.
