Memorial Services for Joe Agapito Griego 89, of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-January 9, 2016-11:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary.
Joe was born on September 16, 1926 in Vallecitos, New Mexico and he passed away on December 27, 2015 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Devoted, loving husband, father and grandfather- Joe A. Griego age 89, of Milan, NM passed into God's hands on Sunday, December 27, 2015 and was surrounded by the ladies of his family. Joe was a tenderhearted protector and a wonderful example of faith and resilience. Joe lived his life displaying hard work and dedication to his church, family and friends. It was Joe's foreseen goal to teach his children and grandchildren how to earn their place in the world, learning to live independently, practice integrity, work hard and maintain their faith in the Lord. Joe is a Veteran of the United States Navy earning several recognitions.
Joe is survived by his wife of 66 years, Faye Griego, his daughters Yvonne Garcia and Shada Gallegos, his son Kenneth Griego, his son-in-law Johnny Gallegos and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
