John "Googie" Molina

John "Googie" Molina, a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, departed this world on May 22, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born on June 22, 1963, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, John made a profound impact on the lives of those around him during his journey on this earth.

John was a man of many passions, with a heart that resonated deeply with the thrill of riding his motorcycle and the excitement of visiting casinos. However, it was his unwavering love for family and friends that stood as the cornerstone of his life. He treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, holding dear the beautiful memories he created alongside them, including those cherished motorcycle rides with his kids that brought smiles and laughter to their lives.

He is survived by his daughter, Camile Molina; his sons, Lawrence and Eric Molina; and his grandson, Emilio Garcia-Molina, who he lovingly raised as his own son. His brother Jerry, along with his sister's Gloria, Dolores, Mary and Pauline. John's legacy continues through his grandchildren—Mariela, Alisea, Fabian, Isaiah, and Landon—and step-grandchildren, Noah and Izaya. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit, reflecting the love and warmth he so freely gave.

John also leaves behind the memory of his dear mother and father, Agnes Molina & Johnny DeHerrera; and brothers, Elmer Molina and Augustine Chavez, who have preceded him in death. The bonds created over the years have fostered a legacy of love that will endure, and he will be missed not only by family but by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of John on June 6, 2025, at the Elks located at 805 Charles St, Grants, NM 87020. The service will begin at 10:00 AM and conclude at 11:00 AM with the burial and reception to follow, offering friends and family a chance to reflect on the joy and love John brought into their lives.
