Funeral Services for Jose Leo Marquez 79, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-March 5, 2014-10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church on Mountain Road. Burial will follow at the Grants Memoiral Park.



Visitation will be held on Tuesday-March 4, 2014-5:00 PM till 7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.



Jose was born on September 8, 1934 in Moquino, New Mexico and he passed away on March 1, 2014 in Grants, New Mexico.



He is survived by his wife: Maria Magdalena Montoya Marquez of Grants, New Mexico; Sons: Albert Marquez and companion Vanessa Arias of Grants, New Mexico, Joey Marquez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Alfonso Marquez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jackie Marquez and companion Darlene Perez of Grants, New Mexico, Michael Marquez of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Jose Montoya and wife Juanita of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Daughters: Linda Marquez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ilene Solano and husband Joseph of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brothers: Gilbert Martinez of Grants, New Mexico and Alfonso Martinez of Grants, New Mexico; sister: Lilly Marquez of Denver, Colorado; 24 Grandchildren and 46 Great Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his Daughter: Sara Rodriguez; Parents: Jose Marquez and Francisquita Padilla Marquez; Brothers: Albert Marquez, Encarnacion Marquez, and Bobby Marquez; Sister: Dulemia Castillo.



Pallbearers will be: Albert Marque, Joey Marquez, Alfonso Marquez, Jack Marquez, Michael Marquez, Jose Montoya and Jesus Quones.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Gilbert Martinez and Alfonso Martinez.
