Rosary and Funeral Mass for Julian Robert Mestas 72, of Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Monday-May 22, 2017-10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery.
Julian was born on January 4, 1945 in Oakland, California and he passed way on May 14, 2017 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving in the US Navy. He was retired from the McKinley County Juvenile Detention Center.
He is survived by his Loving wife: Betty (Lucero) Mestas of Gallup, New Mexico; Brother: Phillip Maestas of Oklahoma; Sisters: Cipriana Mestas of Mount Vernon, MO and Annie Edwards of Channelview, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Felix M. Mestas and Lola (Padilla) Mestas.
Pallbearers will be: David Franco, Patrick Franco, Joshua Alonzo, Joseph Gonzales, Isaiah Tellez, Tooley Brown, Members of Veterans helping Veterans.
