Services for Katherine Lenore Cain Peck, 57, of Milan, N.M., will be held on Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at Grace Baptist Church in Milan at 10 a.m.
Katherine was born in Basin, Wyo., on Sept. 30, 1957, to Albert and Lenore Cain.
She passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015.
Katherine attended schools in Wyoming and New Mexico and was a 1976 Grants High School graduate. She earned her Registered Nurse degree from Eastern New Mexico University, Roswell, N.M., in 1978.
Katherine and William L. "Bill" Peck were married on Sept. 25, 1977, in Roswell. The couple moved to Milan in June 1990. Kathy began her career at Cibola General Hospital, Grants, N.M., in June 1990. She was a CGH employee at the time of her passing.
She is survived by her husband: William L. Peck; her daughter: Katrina W. Peck; her mother: Lenore G. Cain, of Grants; her sister: Becky Suzor and husband, Lonnie, of Arizona; and her brothers: Mike Cain, of Grants, and Kelly Cain and wife, Ruthe, of Aztec, N.M.
Katherine was preceded in death by her father: Albert Cain.
