Rosary and Funeral Mass for Leo Valdez, Jr. 62, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-December 30, 2010-9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will officiate. Private Burial will be held at a later date.
Leo was born on August 25, 1948 in Des Moines, New Mexico and he passed away on December 23, 2010 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a retired Uranium Miner
He is surivied by his loving wife: Mary Ann Valdez of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Barbara Gustafson and husband Mark of Puyallup, Washington and Gabriel Valdez of Albuqueque, New Mexico; Granddaughter: Halie Manzanares of Puyallup, Washington; Brothers: Alex Valdez of Miami, New Mexico and Tommy Valdez of Des Moines, New Mexico; sisters: Erma Moreno of Las Vegas, New Mexico and Beatrice Gallegos of Irving, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Leo Joe Valdez, Sr. and Maria M. Salas; Brothers: Pete Valdez, Vecenti Valdez, Tino Valdez and Avino Valdez.
