Funeral Services for Leon Vern Yazzie 39 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-April 15, 2019-10:00 AM at the Haystack Gospel Lighthouse. Burial will follow on Private Family Land in Haystack, New Mexico. Pastor Edward King will officiate.



Leon was born on June 22, 1979 in Gallup, New Mexico and he passed away on April 9, 2019 in Grants, New Mexico.



He is survived by his Children: Julius Yazzie of Roswell, New Mexico and Wally Yazzie of Farmington, New Mexico; Mother: Laverna "Vandever" Yazzie of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Elvis Yazzie, Lonnie Yazzie and D.J. Yazzie of Prewitt, New Mexico, Elroy Yazzie and Wallace Yazzie, III of Grants, New Mexico; Sisters: Veronica Peters, Nellia Yazzie both of Grants, New Mexico, Valerie Charley of Becenti, New Mexico, Angelita Yazzie and LaVonna V. Hunter both of Prewitt, New Mexico.



He is preceded in death by his Father: Wallace H. Yazzie, Sr.; Brother: Elvin Yazzie.



Pallbearers will be: Lonnie Yazzie, Wallace Yazzie, III, Leander NElson, Lewey Yazzie, Jr. Darris Peters, Jr. Andy Yazzie



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Julius Yazzie, Wally Yazzie, Terry Vandever, Elvis Yazzie, Sr.
