Maria Casaus

Funeral Mass for Maria "Bero" Bernice Casaus 85, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-October 7, 2013-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date at the Grants Memorial Park.



A visitation will be held on Saturday-October 5, 2013 from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.



Rosary will be held on Sunday-October 6, 2013-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.



Maria was born on March 11, 1928 in Chacon, New Mexico and she passed away on October 2, 2013 in Grants, New Mexico.



She is survived by her loving husband: Ramon Casaus of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Leo Casaus of Grants, New Mexico; Daughters: Jean Gurule and partner Mike Baca of Grants, New Mexico, Maryrose Maki and husband Dale of Grants, New Mexico, Lorraine Ellis and husband Tom of Milan, New Mexico and Suzanne Lozano and husband Manuel of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her Parents: Victor and Socorro Duran and 20 Brothers and Sisters.



Pallbearers will be: Brian Maki, Phillip Mirabal, Jason Gurule, Walter Miller, Brittney Gurule and Matt Vallejos.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Gayle Gurule, Bernice King, Bernadette Maki, Victoria Lewis and Kiana Gurule.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
