Funeral Services for Matthew Chavez 40, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-March 17, 2018-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held on Friday-March 16, 2018-5:00 till 7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Matthew was born on November 10, 1977 in Grants, New Mexico and he passed away on March 8, 2018 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He is survived by his: Children: Samantha Chavez of Grants, New Mexico, RaeAnn Chavez and Alia Chavez both of Spring Creek, Nevada; Wife: Shavonne "Cheromiah" Chavez; Parents: Manuel Chavez and Sally "Molina" Chavez both of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Steve Franco and Joe Franco both of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tim Franco of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Beatrice Chavez of Grants, New Mexico; 2 Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Rudy Fernandez, Norman Molina, Steven Franco, Jr., Joseph Torrez, Ryan Rodriguez, Lawrence Molina, Daniel Murray, James Montano
