A celebration of life service for Max S. Perez, Sr. 77 of Gallup will be held Saturday-July 25, 2015 at 10:30 am, beginning with the Rosary, and Mass immediately following, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 411 W. Wilson Ave., Gallup, NM Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park immediately following Mass, 4 W. Historic Hwy 66, Gallup, NM.



The family will receive friends and family at the Community Pantry, 1150 E. Hasler Valley Rd., Gallup, NM



Max was born June 8, 1938 in Concho, Arizona to Rose Mazon and he passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 in Gallup, NM. He lived most of his life in Gallup, NM. He was married to Amelia Perez until January 27, 1996 when she passed away. Max was retired from what is now known as Western Refining Company, formerly Shell and Giant Industries. Max was very well known for his energy, enthusiasm, his generosity, and love for people. He was known for his famous Bar-b-que and his many stories.



Max is survived by his current wife, Zoriada Perez, his children Max Perez Jr. and his wife Alice Perez of Gallup NM, Michael Perez of Gallup NM, Cecelia Kuykendall and her husband Howard of Cortez, Co., Theresa Silva and her husband Tony of Billings MT, along with his four step children, Kelvin Deluc, Pedro Miguel Concepcion, Steven Concepcion, and Brian Concepcion, all of Gallup NM, 19 grand-children, and 26 great-grand-children. Max is also survived by his sister, Martha Perez of Gallup NM, Charles Perez of Sparks, NV, and Johnny Mazon of Thoreau NM.



He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Mazon and his first wife, Amelia Perez, along with his brother's Juan Lopez, Isauro Lopez Jr., Michael Lopez, and Fernando Perez.
