Rosary and Funeral Mass for Nicanor "Nick" Ernest Ramirez 73 of Albuquerque, New Mexico will be held on Monday-August 29, 2022 10:30am. Burial will follow at the La Morada. Celebration of life will be held in the parish hall after burial.
Nick was born on July 21, 1949 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Estefana "Aragon" Ramirez and Tomas Ramirez. He peacefully left us to be with the Lord on August 22, 2022 due to health complications.
He had a profound love for his wife Josie, and his family. He exemplified his New Mexican heritage and loved to sing and dance. He enjoyed his career as a truck driver for Blueher Lumber Co. for many years, until their closing, then J.C. Baldridge/Stock lumber until he was forced to retire due to illness.
He is survived by his loving wife Josie (Martinez) Ramirez; his four children: Josephine Landeros and husband Christopher, Debra, Matthew, and Charles Ramirez; Eleven grandchildren: Stephanie Chavez, Joshua, Kayla, Austin, Gianna, Josiah and Juliana Landeros, Isabell Deaton and husband Zachary, Antonio Gutierrez, Charles Jr. and Lucas Ramirez; three great-grandchildren: Chloe and Cassiel Trevino, and Ellie Deaton; Brother: Phillip Martinez and wife Kimberly; brother-in-laws: Teddy Gonzales and Kiko Ramirez; sister-in-laws: Connie and Antonia Ramirez, as well as Josie's siblings, their spouses, several nieces, nephews and family members.
He was preceded in death by his son: Ernest Nick Ramirez; parents: Tomas and Estefana Ramirez and siblings Donald, Priscilla, Mario and Tommy Ramirez and Evelyn Gonzales
Pallbearers will be: Antonio Gutierrez, Zachary Deaton, Manuel Martinez, Roberto Martinez, Jessie Ramirez, Don Paul Ramirez, Christopher Gallegos and Steve Gonzales.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Elias Gonzales and Daniel Griego.
Nick will always hold a place in our hearts. Until we join him in paradise, may he rest in peace.
