Patrick Laurence Cassidy

Patrick Laurence Cassidy was born on January 31, 1945, in San Pedro, California. He passed on April 8, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Pat spent his youth in northern New Mexico where he helped his grandfather with horses and logging during the winter months. The heartfelt words of his family: “You've taught us so much, daddy! We love you dearly and miss you every day.” Pat’s passions included making biscuits from “scratch” for breakfast, rebuilding cars, and hunting.

Patrick is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Susie Cassidy, daughter Shelee Cassidy (Charles Hayes), son Kelly Patrick Cassidy, granddaughter Miranda Cassidy Leos and family, Adam Leos, great-grandchildren Adam Leos II, Mariah Leos, and Ayden Patrick Leos. Michael Merayo and Dyllon Cassidy grandsons. His brothers and sisters Helen Cruz and family, Michael Cassidy and family, Bernadette and Henry Lopez and family, Mary Louise and Ernie Booth and family, Paul and Melissa Lujan and family, Lisa Lujan and family, James and Donna Basting and family and Michael Kaliterna and family. Along with brother and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Pat joins those who went before him, including his mother Manuela "Maimie" Cassidy-Lujan, stepfather Manuel Lujan, Father Charles Cassidy, as well as his sisters Anna Aguirre, Debrah Goryanec and brothers Richard Lujan, and Mark Lujan.
