Paul Edward Begaye

Paul Edward Begaye, a cherished father, brother, and uncle, passed away on December 31, 2025, in Grants, New Mexico, at the age of 67. He was born on July 23, 1958, in Crownpoint, New Mexico, Paul exemplified a life filled with purpose and dedication.

A proud Army veteran, Paul served his country with honor and distinction.  Throughout his military service, he earned several commendations, including the Sharpshooter Badge with M-16 Rifle Bar, the Army Service Ribbon, and the Overseas Service Ribbon. His commitment to service exemplified his love for his family and nation.

Professionally, Paul was a talented Master Carpenter, known for his meticulous craftsmanship and unwavering dedication to his work. His hands shaped not just wood but the very homes and environments that his family cherished. He took immense pride in his trade, leaving a legacy of quality and craftsmanship that will not be forgotten.

Paul's education at junior college laid a strong foundation for his career and life pursuits. His personality shone brightly through his motto of living life his way, inspiring those around him to embrace their own paths.

Passionate about his family, Paul spent his life nurturing the relationships with his children and extended family. He was a devoted father to his sons, Vincent and Michael Begaye. The love he had for his children was evident in every interaction, as he sought to impart wisdom and support their dreams. His greatest accomplishments were not measured by accolades but by the love he shared and the bonds he forged.

In addition to his career and military service, Paul cherished the time spent with his family and engaged in activities that brought them closer together. His legacy extends beyond his professional achievements and includes the profound impact he had on his loved ones.

Paul Edward Begaye leaves behind sons Vincent and Michael Begaye, along with many family members who adored him. His spirit will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
