Paul Atsye Turner, born on December 21, 1944, in Laguna, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, in Grants, New Mexico. He lived a fulfilling life, characterized by his dedication to his family and his craft. Paul was self-employed in the jewelry business for many years, where he brought beauty and joy to countless individuals through his creations.
He will be remembered as a dedicated father and grandfather. Paul always strived to be the best father and grandfather to everyone, embodying the spirit of love and care in his interactions. He was known for his giving nature, welcoming everyone around him with open arms.
Paul received his education in Barstow, California, where he graduated high school, and furthered his studies at a trade school in Cleveland, Ohio, specializing in electronics. His interests included traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and enjoying good food. He had a remarkable ability to make new friends wherever he journeyed, leaving an indelible mark on those he met.
Paul is survived by his sons, David Turner and Vincent Turner; his daughters, Lisa Turner, Christina Turner, and Debbie Ethridge; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Juanita Turner, and his beloved son, Mark Turner.
A funeral service will be held on February 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Oasis Church located at 1693 State Hwy 122, Prewitt, New Mexico. The burial will follow at Haystack Family Cemetery, Hwy 23, Haystack Rd, Haystack, New Mexico, starting at 11:45 AM. A reception will take place at the Cow Palace in Grants, New Mexico immediately following the burial.
Paul Atsye Turner leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever remember his warmth and kindness.
