Funeral Services for Peggy B. Parsons 96 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-September 8, 2020-1:00 PM at The Way, Truth and Life Ministries in Grants, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Danny Almanza will officiate.
Peggy was born on July 17, 1924 in Pueblo, Colorado and she left this earthy life and entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 31, 2020 in Grants, New Mexico.
Peggy grew up on a ranch in Northeastern New Mexico near the town of Roy. She graduated from Roy Union High School in 1942. She moved to Grants, New Mexico after graduation where she met her future husband Bob Parsons. They were married on May 6, 1943 in Belen, New Mexico. Her life was filled with many activities. She was a wonderful homemaker, loved to sew and bake. She was a avid bowler for many years and enjoyed traveling to numerous bowling tournaments.
Peggy loved fishing with Bob, traveling the backroads, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. When at grandma's hours..the cookie jar was never empty
She is survived by her Daughters: Cheryl Pemble and husband Ernie of Grants, New Mexico, Karla McDaugale and husband Tim of Grants, New Mexico, Penny McDaugale and husband Larry of Grants, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Ryan Pemble of Belen, New Mexico, Tyson McDaugale and wife Lori of Farmington, New Mexico, Brandon Pemble and wife Rosa of Belen, New Mexico, Trenton McDaugale and wife Jazmin of Grants, New Mexico, Chanda Turley and husband Brad of Grants, New Mexico, Desiraye Lopez and husband Art of Grants, New Mexico; Great Grandchildren: Tyler McDaugale, Cheyla Journey, Pierce, Paige and Paizlyn Turley, Korbyn and Jastin Pemble, Josiah Pemble, Jaidyn, Jace and Bryce Lopez and Avery, Alie and Colt Ward and 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Richard Boulware of Roy, New Mexico, Butch Boulware of Marble Falls, Texas, Becky Thigpen of Marble Falls, Texas and William Boulware of Texas; Sister-in-Law: Joyce Dils and husband Charlie of Delores, Colorado.
She is preceded in Death by her Loving Husband of 66 years: Robert L. Parsons; infant son: Robert Keith Parsons; Great Grandson: Devin Armijo-Pemble; Parents: Pearl "Strawn" and Carlyle Boulware; Sisters: Mary Francis Peyton and Dorthy Chavez; Brother: Jimmy Boulware.
Pallbearers will be: Ryan Pemble, Brandon Pemble, Tyson McDaugale, Trenton McDaugale, Brad Turley and Art Lopez.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Chanda Turley, Desiraye Lopez, Rosa Armijo-Pemble, Jazmin McDaugale, Lori McDaugale and her Great Grandchildren.
