Services for Phoebe Chavez 57 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-July 21, 2017-11:00 AM at the Prewitt Assembly of God. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Lambert Perry will officiate.

Phoebe was born on May 28, 1961 in Crownpoint, New Mexico and she passed away on July 14, 2017 in Grants, New Mexico.

She is survived by her Husband: Son: Erick Chavez of Prewitt, New Mexico; Daughters: Sharon Leyba of Milan, New Mexico and Amanda Chavez of Prewitt, New Mexico; Brother: Jimmy Begay of Haystack, New Mexico; Sisters: Helena Perry of Mariano Lake, New Mexico, Betty Tom of Milan, New Mexico and Bessie Begay of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 9 Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Parents: Amos Sloan and Mabel Begay Padilla; Brother: Benny Begay.

Pallbearers will be: Austin Leyba, Darrell Begay, Donald Chavez, Lansferd Perry, Nuriel Perry, Emillio Leyba, Kevin Hudson, Tyrell Hudson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Begay, Ashton Begay, Antonio Ashley, Ely Leyba.
