Rosary and Funeral Mass for Prudence Saavedra 86 of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-July 25, 2019-10:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Prudence began her journey of life on December 18, 1932 in Tenaja, New Mexico and joined the Lord peacefully surrounded by her family on July 19, 2019 in Milan, New Mexico.
Prudence was a dedicated wife of 61 years. She was a loving, supportive mother to 3 children. Her undeniable faith was present in all aspects of her life.
She is survived by her Loving Husband: Patrocino Saavedra; Her children: Patricia Valdez and husband Meddie of Milan, New Mexico, Paulette Selkirk and husband James of Kodiak, Alaska, Patrick Saavedra and wife Michelle of Gilbert, Arizona; Grandchildren: Michael Valdez, Nadine Martinez, Michelle Pages, AJ Will, Tony Will, Eddie Selkirk, Brittani Garcia Campuzano and Natalee Saavedra; Great Grandchildren: Miranda Chavez, Malorie Martinez, Cadence Pages, Jacob Pages, Austin Pages and Annalise Will; Sisters: Helen Montenegro, Inez Manning and Nikki Salazar.
She is preceded in death by her Parents: Ynez Jaure and Cipranita "Salazar" Jaure; siblings: Pablo Jaure, Tony Jaure and Mary Saavedra, Brother in laws: Matias Manning and Ross Salazar.
